This Antenna makes it possible for us to use Cellular Internet on the farm.
In our case there was no signal at all (except for cellphone 'hotspots' in various places in the garden) before the Antenna was installed.
So even if you don't have a signal this Antenna may be able to help you.
If you have a weak signal then this Antenna will DEFINITELY help you.
Description: This medium gain antenna is robust and meant for a fixed, outdoor or indoor installation. The antenna has a gain of 4.6 - 6.3dBi (depending on the frequency) and covers the 860 - 960 MHz and 1710 - 2170 MHz frequency bands.
Since the antenna is omni-directional it does not have to be pointed towards the tower, but will communicate with all cellular or GPRS/EDGE/3G/HSDPA enabled towers that it locates. It also has the benefit that should one tower be congested, it can switch to the next.
It is just 50 cm long and comes with a L-bracket and U-bolts that allows you to fit it on a pole up to 50 mm in diameter or against a wall.
Use the Omni Antenna in areas where the signal is weak but there are a number of towers within a 35 km radius.
Use this antenna to improve data reception: We have adapters available for SIERRA WIRELESS, HUAWEI, NOVATEL and OPTION 3G cards.

Installation:
The
antenna is supplied with an L bracket
with U-Bolts to fit on a pole up
to 50 mm in diameter. It can also be fitted
directly onto a wall.

Connect your extension cable to the N-type connector. Mount the antenna on a pole outside the home or office. The antenna must be installed as high as the cable allows. Take the cable into the house or office and connect the extension cable to the 30 cm long 3G adapter cable. The other end of the adapter cable gets connected to your 3G card or modem.

High Gain Directional Antenna Kit with 7m cable and an adapter for your specific 3G Modem
Description: This high gain antenna comes with 7 m cable terminated in a SMA (m) connector. It comes with an adapter of your choice. The generic adapter cable that fits onto the E220 USB modem can also be used with a cellular phone.
Use the Directional Antenna (as opposed to the Omni) in areas where the signal comes mainly from one direction. This can often happen in remote Mountainous areas.
This antenna is robust and meant for a fixed, outdoor installation. The antenna has a gain of 11 dBi and covers the 824 - 1000 MHz and 1700 - 2170 MHz frequency bands. It is just over 1 m long and looks very similar to an old MNet antenna. It is supplied with a U-bolt that allows you to fit it to mount it on a pole up to 50 mm in diameter.

Use this Antenna to improve cellular voice reception:The high gain Antenna is ideal to improve voice as well as data reception.
If the included 7 m cable is too short you may want to purchase a 5 or 10 m extension cable (see Accessories). Note that longer cable weakens the signal you receive somewhat. Always use the shortest cable possible.
Mount the Antenna on a pole outside the home or office. The Antenna must be installed as high as the cable allows. It should be pointed in the direction of the cellular tower. Take the cable into the house or office and connect the 7m to the 30 cm long 3G adapter cable. The other end of the adapter cable gets connected to your 3G card.
